libdiagnostics-dev software package provides Logging, unittesting, and runtime diagnostics for C++ - development files, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdiagnostics-dev
libdiagnostics-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdiagnostics-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdiagnostics-dev *
You will get with libdiagnostics-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
